So, just who am I in 370 words or less?
 

What keeps me busy:

• I’m currently a Squamish Councillor. This is a fantastic job and the main reason for this site. I want to utilize this site (and newsletter) to keep you informed as to what I’m doing in my job and more importantly so that you can get a hold of me with any comment , compliment or concern.
• Raiser’s Edge Copywriting (owner).Working closely with business I quickly get up to speed on the issues they are facing. With insight and research I’m able to help them overcome their challenges. 
• Cynical Sunshine (owner) . This one is fun. Here I have t-shirts and stickers as well as movie reviews, and an archive of my bi-weekly opinion column that ran for over eight years. This was a great job and great outlet to passionately rant. Oh yeah, and there are a couple pictures of drunken teddy bears.
• Beyond the Valleycliffe of the Dolls aka: BVOD (creator, organizer) 8 years this world famous one of a kind fundraising mountain bike ride has been changing lives. It’s a damn good time.
• Squamish Local Social (creator, organizer) these evenings are designed for a fantastic casual way to meet people in the community. Bring your spouses, friends, co-workers, everyone is invited.

• Member of Smoke Bluff Park Committee
• Member of Parks and Recreation Committee
• Member of Operations Committee
• Member of Library board
• Past Member, Select Committee on Squamish Business Development. 
• Past Member of Select Committee of Oceanfront Development
• Past Member, Corridor Trail Select Committee
• Volunteer for Test of Metal, Squamish Triathlon, Squamish Day’s Logger Sports, Community Christmas Care, GK Ripper, countless one day events and fundraisers.

Recreation

• Oh how I do enjoy recreating. If only there was enough time to sample all the wonderful recreation opportunities in this fantastic community.
   
• Most of my time is spent playing with my wife and kids (yes I’m very lucky), riding my bikes, and wishing I had more time to go skiing, and snowboarding.
