Summer tid bits

Hello Local Socialite

Just a quick note to say hello and let you know about some of the good stuff going on in out mighty town.

First, This weekend (June 19) is the legendary Test of Metal Weekend.
Friday: downtown will be lots of family fun stuff.
Saturday: the big show with 800 racers going through our trails. There will also be a humongous pipe band gathering at the start line (11:00 at the rec center)
Sunday: the little kids have the mini metal at Squamish station and the spectator favorite “Rock Star” is the downhill race in Valleycliffe.

Lots to see and do.

Next weekend (24th) is the Sikh festival downtown and this is an amazing event with more food than you could possibly eat - everyone welcome and Eat! Eat! Eat!
The 24th is also St-Jean-Baptiste day ensuring lots of fun stuff Downtown Squamish.

Also exciting just announced news. Squamish is hosting a HUGE two day music festival on Labour day weekend being organized by brand LIVE. Locals get first crack at ticket sales Monday June 21st go online and use the code squamishresident.
